What is Illinois Restaurant Week?
It is an initiative created by Cause an Event, a public relations marketing firm in Bloomington, IL. Since Twin City Restaurant Week was launched in September 2009 the promotion has gained much success. The promotional event originated and was founded in order to create a desire for members of the community to experience unbelievable culinary events in Illinois that showcase the region's remarkable dining options.

During a FIVE WEEK span in the spring and fall Illinois Restaurant Week will take place in: Bloomington/Normal, Champaign, Decatur, Peoria and Springfield. Participating restaurants in surrounding communitees will also join and participate in their nearest Restaurant Week.

Each week dining customers will have the opportunity to travel to each town and take part in extraordinary delectable treats featured by participating restaurants. Restaurant Week gives local food aficionados and visitors an opportunity to enjoy special price fixed menus from participating restaurants throughout Twin City area, Peoria, Champaign, Decatur and Springfield for a fixed price. Participating establishments will offer special priced three-course fixed meals. Dinner will range in price $11.50 to $41.50 depending on the restaurant(liquor, tax and gratuity not included). Some Lunch menu options as well!

A spectacular exhibition of the Central Illinois culinary talents, Restaurant Week will illustrate why and where to eat out in Central Illinois. Restaurant Week will feature a vast array of options from established favorites as well as many new restaurants that have opened their doors during the past year.

How to Dine Out During


Illinois Restaurant Week:
1. Search participating restaurants by city, name and price point.
2. View menus by clicking on restaurants name.
3. Make advance reservations by contacting restaurant(s) directly.
4. Reservations fill up quickly, so call today to save your spot!

* $1.50 of each Restaurant Week menu will go to the American Heart Association.
