Your basic drink-a-lot-of-beer bar. Very limited menu (though the onion burger is darned good and very cheap), but they encourage you to go next door to whatever restaurant is there (I don't recall the name) and bring your food back to the bar. Very limited beer selection, all of which are fizzy, yellow water variety (the "cheap drunk", every-bar-has-it, kind of lager). Staff can be friendly or off-putish, welcoming or resentful, depending on their mood and which regulars are at the bar today. Foul language seems to flow freely from one of the staff, where everything is f-ing this and f-ing that. I still drop by for the onion burger now and then when I'm in the area at lunch time, but otherwise the place has no ambiance, no atmosphere, no culture. At least not during the day, but I've never been there with the evening crowd (and I'm told by the staff they get a large crowd most weekend nights).
