Otherwise a basic tavern done up Aussie style, the sandwiches are inventive and excellent. Fair prices on food and drink. 2-3 TV screens, sans sound, and rarely tuned to any particular game (and staff generally doesn't know which channel has any particular game so don't bother asking). Overall a quite place, comfortable and relaxing, and feel free to toss peanut shells onto the floor. The only gotchas I can think of are (1) it's cash only, so bring it or your ATM card (ATM on premises), and (2) be very careful you have witnesses at the next table or stool to verify what you ordered. Three times over two months one particular staff member tried to add an extra beer to my ticket that I didn't order. I was able to ask a neighboring patron to verify. They dropped the extra beer from my ticket willingly, but really, this is a suckers game of trying to get more than is due from a patron. It borders on leeching. I stopped going and will never return but I do miss the sandwiches. They were very good.
